Hi guys!
I am Renzo from the Netherlands, I'm 23 years old, and I'm the proud owner of a Chevy Malibu Coupe. I bought this car 3 months ago, and I already started to tear it apart.
My plans are to make a lightweight streetracer, but I want it to be used on the circuit also.. The car already came with a limitesslipdifferential, so that's a nice one (7.5 inch though) I already stripped down the interior, and heavy steel panels. I'll replace them with fiberglass parts. The engine will eventually be a 383 or 400.. Throw some bucket seats in it and custom aluminum interior panels.
The suspension will be modified but first I want to finish the interior.
The car was pretty solid, the floorpan had some holes but these are welded, the passenger side had some nasty rust, because the heater radiator ( correct me if I spelled it wrong) the inner wheel wells have 2 little holes in it. The chassis is straight and solid, the body is accident free.
I will post some pictures of the progress I'll make. I expect the car to be finished in under 2 years!
My apologies if my English is bad, those Dutchies over here don't speak it fluently haha
Greetings from the Netherlands!
