Can anyone tell me what hook to the wiring harness right there. The other end was just use as a ground but I don't know what was been grounded . Then the last picture I'm trying to figure out what is that sensor for. It's locacted on the back of the engine block. The engine is a Buick v6

The sensor on the back of the block is the oil pressure sending unit.

On buick engines the oil sending unit is on the front RH side of the engine. That is the knock sensor shown in the picture.

When I look up the sensor. The one with the two plug thing on the back come up as the oil pressure thing. Then the other picture with the thing that just screw in came out the back of the block. So what is that. Or do both of them have to do with the oil pressure. This is a 1985 cutlass with the buick v6 in it
