I had a Cavalier that vintage. Mine was a manual though. The seats were actually pretty comfy. Driver's side was power too. They'd look right at home in a Gbody.

I never realized it but those firenza buckets look real close to a G body regal bucket.

Off to find a maroon firenza :)

The Cadillac Cimarron
(J Body) has really nice seats.

Like everything else good luck finding them. These cars have been crushed 6 times over by now.

And some have passenger power seats with that same style trim, looks factory on a Monte Carlo/El Camino, Regal and many Grand Prix bucket seats. Found one this year junkyarding but they are very hard to find, or any older j-body for that matter around here. Tracks won't really bolt in but as was mentioned, the seats would interchange on g-body tracks I believe.

Agreed. Whats a solution to putting in these bucket seats from sedans that don't have the fold forward feature found in coupes to allow for people to get in the rear seats?

Not positive about the J body seats, but the G Body buckets found in a sedan have a piece of flat stock steel holding the seat bottom and seat back together, keeping it from tilting forward. It's as simple as removing that ~1x3 inch piece.
