Need help with my el camino daily driver

I have an 85 el camino 305 I drive it daily and drove it on Monday down the freeway and was going pretty fast and I noticed when I got off the freeway it boggs out on me and wants to turn off don't know hot to explain it but any help is greatly it is my daily driver as I am riding a bike until I can fix my el camino

Check obvious stuff first .
Is it out of or low on gas?
Fuel filter clogged?
Float sticking on the carb?
Torque converter stuck in locked mode?
Weak or bad accelerator pump?
Fouled plugs?
EGR stuck open?
