My 1986 olds cutlass My brake lights aren't working no power fuses good bulbs good all my other light work just not my brake light anyone had the same problem?

I had this issue with my monte, in my case it was the switch the brake pedal depresses up under the dash. Hope that helps ya.

Check the switch out first to see if it's the problem.

If it turns out you need a new switch, and assuming you have cruise control (K34 on your SPID) your replacement switch would be ACDelco D850A, GM p/n 25524845. Rockauto.com has them for 10.16 plus tax/shipping.

Amazon has them for around 10 bucks with free shipping. Not sure about taxes.
