I need new tires on my rear. I am currently running 27560r15 cooper cobras that I got when I first got the car which are long overdue for replacements. I’m looking to go to a drag radial and stay the same size. I’m not sure my width of my rim or backspacing or any other specs about them other then being 15s. I have about 1/2 inch clearance from the frame. Will drag radials clear and be tucked in the bodywork well? I have no Frame notch and quite saggy old suspension in the back. What wheels would be my best route to get drag radials under the car? Thank you.

It’s kind of a street car that will be driven two or three days out of the week at most. I’d like to take it to the track as well.
I can't recommend any tire/rim combination. Driven regularly, why drag tires? Why don't you spend your money and get your saggy suspension fixed with a normal set of street tires. There are bunches of good brands, let your wallet be your guide. But.... it looks like you have your mind set on drag radials already. Your car, do what you want.

I like the Cooper Cobras for a street tire and feel that have a good look to them and nice tread.
As far as drag radials I like M/T drag Radials
Here is a comparison between the 2 brands size difference for 275/60R15 both measured on an 8" rim
The section width is usually where rubbing will happen on a Gbody.
Specs:
Cooper Cobra
Height 28.1"
Tread width 8.5"
Section width 10.7"

M/T SS drag radial
Height 28.2"
Tread width 9.3"
Section width 11.1"

Would a rim with more backspacing give me the clearance to go with the M/T? Im getting my tires Unmounted from my current rims to measure next weekend.

You need to know what the specs are on your current rims and how much clearance you currently have between your section width and frame and also between your tire and rear wheel well

I race with some 275-60-15 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. a 15x8" wheel with 4" backspacing fits great! a 4 1/2" back space will fit, but the inside tire sidewall will probably rub the frame (So, Stick to 4" BS)

I also switch them out at the track. the car sits on some 15" rally ll's with 235/70's
