I wonder what these will do to the prices of the survivors Yenko's that are out there. I would rather buy one of these than one that has been around since 1968 no matter what condition it's in.

Don't know that the original Yenkos will be effected all that much. Similar situation to the Cobra continuation series. Same car with 2 different markets.

I fully agree and really would have thought they would have been re-produced in "kit" form by now.

If you look at something like what Factory Five puts out. Shelby, 33 & 35 hot rods, daytona. Why not Tri fives, and pony cars ? Modern handling, brakes, power plants in a familiar body style.
For $20k you can get a bare body with suspension ( all brand new on a tubular frame ) then pick your poison for a drivetrain.

That one looks like a Baldwin-Motion Camaro.

Pretty sure it is styled after the '68 Yenko: https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2017/...sells-for-record-setting-600000-in-las-vegas/

Personally, I have always preferred the '68s over the belly button '69s.
Mike,
You're right. Here's a link to a Baldwin-Motion Camaro on Hagerty's site. Different scoop and stripes.

why do think it's a scam?
I think it's a scam because you're paying for the licensing. You can buy repro Yenko badges, and it's a bare bones Camaro. There's no reson it couldn't be built for half their price. "starting at $149,995", PFFFT, for WHAT?
