I bought a 1978 El Camino a few weeks ago and am with it so far. It has a 355 with automatic. Body is good as well as the interior. Just put new tires and front coil springs and front shocks. Someone had heated the front coils and messed the whole thing up big time. Even a small bump would make a hitting sound that would make you dodge cracks in the road.

Welcome aboard fellow Floridian!
Cool El Camino. I like the color.

Thank you sir! I use the VA in Gainesville and I was at the raceway the other week looking at the beautiful and expensive El Caminos that were there. I was in hopes of finding a few parts, but I did not see any.
