I knew the body wasn't going to be perfect. I just wanted a new color instead of different shades of tan and whatever other colors there were. My buddy and I plastdipped to the whole car in Anthracite Gray. Took a long time Saturday but very happy with the results. Trim will be done in black probably and the bumpers and grill. Not sure about the wheels yet.

You actually plasti-dipped the whole car? It looks good...It sure looks a lot better than a multi-colored paint scheme...I've been there, too. I like the color as well.

That does look good. I thought the plasti-dipp would add alot of weight to the car but after looking that up your only adding between 1 and 2 pounds...

We did yes. Totally worth it. You can even get it to become glossy like a regular paint job but I didn't need to fork over the cost for it.

I guess there's no cutting and buffing involved. Can you clearcoat it?
I think the matte finish does look cool though.

You can put clearcoat on it, but for me the cost was more than I was willing to spend when they body isn't in perfect shape.
I don't blame you. There's no sense dumping a lot of money in a paint job when the bodywork isn't perfect. At least it's all one color, and it looks presentable.

It looks good. What kind of prep is involved? How did you spray it?
