Hello,
my name is Klaus and i live near Augsburg/Munich in Bavaria Germany.

My G-Body is a 1987 El Camino in very nice condition, it is brought over from Florida
over 25 years ago by a friend.
I am not new to american cars and i have this El Camino approx. 5 years.
The car is not your everage Elco, it has Bassett Wheels, 275/60 reartires 1 7/8" headers
good stance and suspension with posi and 4.88 gears.
There are Recaro seats and the only regret i have, the interior is gutted. But it was modern at the time in the 90s....
The car had a original 302" SBC engine with a cam and 8000rpm redline.
This winter is the time, i will change to a LS 3 engine and save the 302".

I am looking forward to this forum !

Is it just me or would others like to see pics of this far off Elco? Never ceases to amaze me where American cars end up all over the planet.....I was in Timor 30 odd years ago and found a guy restoring Impalas using NOS parts he had found in Jakarta....

If you happen to change out the poor little TH200-4R in order to get all that LS power to the wheels I might have good use for it in my '85 ;)

Thank you for the welcome, i know if i dont have pics, it never happens, lol !
The bavarian guys are all over the world, too ! SERVUS !
And yes the american cars are everywhere, because if you do a little the power is unbeatable.
Timor is a long way, but i have a few other american musclecars for my own fun.

I like the american cars, food and lifestyle....
And i like hotrodding, therefore ALL cars are NOT stock, this is boring.
Real men cut it up !
Because of that, the TH200 is long gone and a TCI TH350 Streetfighter with a
10" 3000 stall converter is in the car...

No cut coils here. Its a complete red Koni suspension with shocks and springs.
And in the front are Belltech 2" lowering spindles.
Rides real good and stable....
