New G Body Cutlass Owner <<< Help Please!!

Bought my 85 G body cutlass about 5 months ago. Originally from Florida but I'm living in minnesota. Looking to put some 24" rims on it without doing any cutting to the body. Any suggestions?

I have 5" cups and shocks but I'm wondering will I need front control arms too?

No! 24s don't require that. All you need is to replace your springs and shocks with brand new ones, and get 275/25/24 tires. The biggest fitment factor will be the offset/backspacing of the wheels. Don't buy wheels that don't fit the car.

When I bought the wheels I was told 255/3024s fit the car better than the 25s

They'll fit, they'll just be a little closer to the wheelwells.

Which I can get spacers for that right? I'm new to this sh*t so I'm trying to ask as many questions as I can lol

Spacers push the wheel away from the car to limit/stop the wheels from touching the frame.

This is an expensive part but it can help prevent the car from bottoming out for a long time. It's designed to help a lowrider never bottom out but once your car is on 24's similar principles apply about too much flex letting the tires rub and all that.
