Hi Guys, I'm a new user on the G-Body Forum from Germany. I have owned a 1979 Chevy monte carlo since 2003. Technical data: V8 305 cui with TH350

I always liked the fender arch details on the 78-81 A-body Montes. Less boxy than the Malibus and later Montes.

Take a ride out into the country and share some more photos with Germany in the background.

A friend of mine years ago had an identical looking Monte. same color combination. I remember driving it and towing a boat trailer.

nice and something like that will certainly stand out in Germany ! but I'm not sure I even want to ask what the vehicle tax is on the Monte over there

Thanks.., it's not dangerous, after 30 years you get an "oldtimer rating" and the tax is more favorable
