Old man recently (August) gave me his 1980 Olds Cutlass built up about 20 years ago, was finished and running back then but not when he gave it to me. He had swapped a Buick 455 into it rebuilt with a bunch of performance goodies. I have since got the thing back on the road and now I'm chasing away all the electrical gremlins it has from having sat for most of the last 15 years. I'll be looking for some help on here with questions from time-to-time, this is my first ever GM vehicle.

Thanks for the add!

Nice car, what's the interior look like? More details and photos please!

The interior is fair, headliner falling, Dad had put leather (I think, but maybe vinyl) bucket seats, rear seat, and a center console in from another vehicle, the upholstery on the seats was dyed black from the original red and is starting to crack in a few places. The driver seat has a broken bracket I need to weld up, it has a pretty severe lean. Not too bad overall though, since the engine is fixed it's just little nickel-dime stuff. I have the dash torn apart now to fix gremlins with the HVAC controls and re-pin the connectors to swap in the good gauge cluster. It was originally a diesel car, so it has the granny gauge cluster with just the speedo and idiot lights, and the original speedo doesn't work anymore. I have the newer cluster with all the gauges that will be going in and will finish hooking everything up once I have the correct sending units. And at some point I'll cut the column shifter off since the floor shifter in the console is hooked up. I'll try to get some more pictures uploaded at some point in the next week.

Yeah, the old Appliance brand wheels, probably from the '70's. I have no idea where Dad picked them up, but I dig them. Probably will look a little better when I get some center caps for them.

Oh yeah, and thanks for the welcome.
