I'm new here, just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Matthew, and I'm here with an 85 Monte Carlo SS. No rust, front bumper needs replaced, along with the stripes. This is my first car. The floor mats in the pic are not there now. The wheels have also been swapped out with the original wheels, as seen in the bottom pics. The first pics are from the ad.

New floor mats, front bumper, Pontiac GTA-type wheels, my dad's talking about a LT1 swap, it's got a transmission, but can't remember which one. I'd like to lower it, if the wheels fit.

Sweet! Car looks really clean. I'm actually really encouraged by all the well-preserved G's I'm seeing on here lately.
Thanks. It's got no rust, but a big crack in the bumper. Not the paint, but the body is cracked.

Welcome from a fellow 85 owner! Bought mine new in Oct of 84 and drove it as much as I could when work, school, life, did not get in the way! Lol

You have a clean looking car and I hope you enjoy looking through the forum and share all the good and bad that can happen when restoring and freshening the car.

Welcome Matthew; That's one fine first car. As the years pass try to hang on to it. When your 35 going on 50 you'll be glad ya did! When the time comes & the need arises get another car for a Dayle Driver. I hope you enjoy it for many years, something you can take pride in & be proud of. Ole' Bob.
