It with a heavy heart that I must sell my car. I have owned it for three years, but must sell due to an unplanned early retirement. For sale at $15,000 Price is pretty firm. Trades are not accepted. Factory original Olds 307 V8, TH200R4, and 8.5 inch rear-end with 3.73 gears and positive traction. This is an original, highly optioned 442. See RPO codes in the pictures. This car is ready for the road and dependable. A history of the car may be seen upon request. This would include maintenance performed during my ownership and any known history prior to my ownership. A brief maintenance history is as follows: All four tires were replaced and have less than 6,000 miles and three years of wear. Engine, transmission, and differential oils have been changed to full synthetic. Brake system was flushed. New semi-metallic brake pads were installed and rear brake shoes were adjusted. Coolant system was flushed, water pump replaced, original radiator rebuilt, and Extended Life coolant mixture was installed with a new surge tank and radiator cap. Vehicle has had a recent tune-up with timing and idle adjusted and ignition system inspected. All filters and spark plugs have been changed along with distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires. Underside is clean with only slight surface rust on parts of the frame and suspension. Doors are rust free as well as the rear frame, quarter panels, and bumper mounts. Door hinges are solid. Factory exhaust was replaced with a true dual exhaust to include headers. Catalytic converter was removed with O2 sensors installed within header. Smog pump and piping has been removed as well. The original cross member was replaced with a G-force brand to enable the dual exhaust to be installed. Air conditioning has been converted to R134a and has a full charge with no leaks detected. Four new Kenwood speakers and stereo are mounted in their original factory positions. The original radio/cassette player with equalizer comes with the car. The new stereo has blue tooth capability, hands free speaker equipped, and USB connection. The odometer has rolled over once by my estimation. The engine does not smoke during or after startup and there are no noises that would indicate internal issues. Oil pressure is good and independently verified with a calibrated pressure gauge. Transmission shifts smoothly and through all gears. Front and rear suspension system was rebuilt to include new shocks, bushings, seals, and upper control arms. Power steering hoses, pump, and gearbox were replaced with front-end alignment performed. Original carburetor was replaced with a professionally rebuilt OEM Quadrajet carburetor. The car has one known repaint, which was completed in 2002 with factory original colors in BC/CC. Touch up paint completed last year. The interior was completely removed and refreshed prior to 2002. There were and are no signs of rust on the floor pans. T-top bags come with the car, but are not original. All-weather car cover comes with the car. Original jack, wrench, and spare tire come with the car. Two original 1987 Factory maintenance manuals come with the car. Owner’s manual and supplemental manual come with the car. The car is very dependable. You will not be ashamed to take this car anywhere, and you will not be left broke down on the side of the road getting there. Most of the issues are cosmetic, which means you can drive it anytime and still fix most of the cosmetic issues if you want. All maintenance was done by ASE certified mechanics since I have owned the vehicle, and receipts are available as proof of maintenance accomplished.
