Hi, John here, I’m building a 1978 El Camino for my wife. I’m putting in a 383 strokes along with a Tremec 5 speed. its currently an automatic car so doing a conversion to stick. Running into problems with finding a location for mounting the slave cylinder for the clutch. I bought the trans kit and it came with all the necessary parts but the bracket they provided just doesn’t want to work. I’m not into Jerry rigging it. I’ll look for the right forum to post this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
