Pics coming tomorrow, one of the mechanics at the ambulance service I work for bought his daughter a 78/79 Regal. Well, long story short, transmission let go, he bought another transmission and after install, guess the 3.8 V6 is smoking death like. He knows I mess with projects and G-bodys, so I just bought it $500.

Its got an older silver paint job with black surround sorta like an older T-Type. Black 1/4 vinyl top and 14 Buick Rallies. Grey-ish interior with 60/40 and power windows. Needs a rear bumper filler, and I am thinking 350 or 4555 Buick....

Cool part, last car swap meet, I bought a 78-79 Turbo hood that is silver.

Stay tuned,I get some pics tomorrow, when I go drag it home!

You would want to scrap the n/a 3.8 even if it wasn't smoking....

Oh, well, I am under the impression all of these G-body cars have been unloved by GM and deserve the rightful displacement engines like 454's and 455's...or in some instances a 350 or 383.

If you don't want to save it, I'm sure some one else will want to. It's a nice looking Regal for sure.

Since the first trans went bad and now your smoking - I would check out your vacuum modulator. (just a idea))
