Hmmm. Not sure if either of those tanks will help. Looks like it's got a hole right in the center top on both of them...…. :p

TURNA one thing you might consider on the aftermarket tanks (I used a Spectra in the Monte) is some of them fill fuel like sh*t with the aftermarket necks. It might be worth considering one without the neck attached and having your original fill neck transferred. Then again, I don't know for sure if it's an issue on the Cutlass tank, but the Spectra tank almost always spit back if you tried filling it too fast, something the factory one never did.

The newer Spectra tanks have a vent tube inside tank that runs up to the filler pipe that fixes the fill issue.

If you do just drill a hole and add a 3/8 barb fitting in tank by sending unit . then drill a hole and add 3/8 barb to filler pipe . run a 3/8 fuel hose and issue fixed.
you can solder the barbs into hole , just do it before hand and be sure to flush out any metal shavings from tank.
