Hey everybody! I’m happy to join the Gbody family with my new project, 1980 Olds Cutlass Calais. I’m hoping I can get it road worthy in the next year with everyone’s help! Cheers!

Welcome from SW Georgia. Looks like a good start. Post some interior pics. Lots of help here so don't hesitate to ask. You look like an over-achiever as your Christmas lights are already up. Oh...sorry. Also a few smart a***s here

Haha, thanks for the reminder. It snowed here in Southern Manitoba last weekend, I didn’t think Christmas was going anywhere! I started stripping my he interior because I have to do some patching on the floor pans. Mice were also living inside so no I’m trying to determine what I’m going to do with the interior, wether I can bleach and clean it or replace it. I’m hoping I can at least clean the carpet and figure out how to install some newer S10 buckets and rear bench.

I redid my interior. Carpet not crazy expensive. I went from a bench to buckets.

Welcome, yeah it snowed the day before May Long in South Eastern Saskatchewan as well, par for the course. It looks like a good starting point. What drive train is in the Olds?

Welcome, looks like a good start. Yes you can clean the carpet up and make it look better but those white spots are gonna be there unless you decide to try to dye the whole carpet. For the price I would probably just replace it depending on what level of a project you are going for. I redid my whole interior cause it started like this for a fellow blue interior guy
