Hey guys, I picked up a 81 Wagon and have been slowly getting it road worthy. It came with the 229 V6 but I'm swapping in a warmed over 305 till I get the real motor built.

Welcome to the GBodyForum!
You have joined a great group. There is quite a bit of knowledge here to tap in to. There are also a lot of wagon owners here to give you "wagon specific" help. Can't wait to see your ride on the road.

Thanks, I will post some pics of the car and hopefully we'll get the engine dropped in this week.

Got the Blazer brakes, new control arms, bushings and ball joints installed along with the QA1 coil over kit on my wagon. New rotors and pads are coming. I don't think I mentioned the change in direction with this car, I picked up a 402 stroker LS2 and 4L80 trans..... snowball much? lol

When doing the Blazer front brake upgrade, doesn't that change the bolt pattern? Isn't Blazer 5 on 5 instead of 5 on 4 3/4?

The only difference is the studs use metric M12-1.5 lug nuts
