No "bulb check" when ignition is on

When I turn my key to the on position I only get the fasten seatbelts light and the buzzer, then they both go off after a few seconds. No other light on the dash lights up for the bulb check. Has anyone experienced a problem like this? Thank you. 1985 cutlass supreme with rally pack gauges

Turn the key past RUN and "hold it in halfway in between" RUN and CRANK position, IIRC that was the typical bulb test/check position?

That was it! I thought the bulb test was with the ignition on "on", looks like it works afterall. Thank you!
