Dome light wire burned so would that be the cause of interior lights not to work? Dash lights work nothing under dash and when door is open put new bulbs...nothing. And also trunk light not working how or where do I check or make all work again...any and all help is really appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the trunk switch is a mercury tilt, so that's probably the bulb. Verify voltage on the wire.
Yes if your domelight wire burned, it will make the light not work. Replace the wiring before further diagnosis....

if the wire burned then there must be a short causing the interior not to work. The dome light socket may have caused the short but the fuse should have blown before the wire burned.
