I have an 88 cutlass supreme that originally had the olds 307. I have swapped to a sbc and removed most of under hood wiring that was required for the old engine and ecu. I have most everything rewired but I have no power to ac/heater fuse. I'm looking for help with where the power feed for that fuse is ran from. Thanks in advance.

Red wire (hot always as long as the fusible link at the starter solenoid is still intact) to the ignition switch supplies constant power. Power via orange wire FROM the switch goes to A/C fuse and IGN 3 circuit on the fuse block when ignition is in RUN.
And the ignition switch junk is on the steery column.
If you have power TO the ignition switch, then it's an issue with either the switch when in run, or the orange wire from the switch to the fuse block. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm assuming you checked the fuse?

Thanks for the reply. Yes first thing I checked was the fuse. That's when I discovered there was no power to the fuse on either side of fuse with key on. I have temporarily wired in a relay to a known good ignition source and I have it working until it warms up some since I work on it outside. At which time I may just rewire all the accessories since it starts and runs just fine. I was mainly worried about having heat to keep windshield clear,and to keep the chill to a minimum.
