Good afternoon everyone

Im new to the forum and new to the g body cars. My name is George and I've been wrenching on cars for over 27 years.

I just recently purchased a 1981 Malibu sedan with a 1977 oldsmobile 403/th350 swap done on it for $450 running and driving.

I purchased this car to build as a tribute car for my grandfather who passed away back in August. When i was a kid he had a 1981 Malibu wagon that he and my uncle dropped a 305 crossfire injected v8 into.

Its a work in progress but I'm hoping to have it on the road in the spring. I may need some help figuring some things out which is why I've registered with this forum. I am also more than willing to lend my knowledge of i can help someone else with their projects.

Thanks for reading my post and i look forward to helping and being helped in the future.

Welcome aboard George!
I can't say I've ever seen a 403 Olds engine transplanted into a Malibu sedan before. It's a pretty unique combo. Dare to be different. I dig it..
It's not any crazier than putting a 500 cu.in. Caddy in it.

I resemble that remark.

Welcome to the forum. And here I thought I was the only person ever silly enough to put a crossfire engine in a g body, I currently have an. 81 Grand Prix with a crossfire 305 that I put in about 10 years ago. Good luck with the Malibu a 403 is a great beginning for a sweet street engine.

I resemble that remark.

Welcome George
(y) Crazy cool, though. Nothing negative about having a torquey big inch Caddy in a G-body. It always has my vote.
