Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to the forum. I have future plans to swap either a set of early 350 rocket ot 455 heads into it to overcome the pathetic 8.0 to 1 compression.

Big block heads alone wont help the compression 403's are 83CC big blocks are 80cc.

Plus you will have to get an Edelbrock performer rpm intake and port match it.

Welcome! Plenty of Grandpas here to advise you. Nice ride but I would leave it low compression too. That way you can play with timing, carb, cam, and still avoid detonation. And is that an F body tucked away in back?

Unfortunately the car under the cover is a friends son's 1993 Toyota Celica ragtop. I also picked up a mint set of T/A snowflake wheels with brand new tires for $350 so i can ditch the 14x8.5 wheels and 245/50r14 tires (dry rotted and $160 each to replace) that are under it.

Snowflakes are really nice but they will interfere with the lower control arm lips. The result is a gouge in the inner rim. You will need spacers in front and maybe in the rear too. I know, I used them too.

I like it a lot. Yeah early 330 or 350 heads and a cam swap will go a long way.
