Easy, pilgrim, not criticizing your talents in the photo department. Only noting for your consideration that for anyone sand bagging this thread to give you the ID you need, what we're looking at has to make sense to us. Can't begin to count how many shots I have taken as highlights for items I have worked on and have had to edit out because of fuzziness, or the shakes or being off centre or................... Just glad I can now take and save them to a chip; the cost of film and printing used to be a killler.

Never seen that pan before so still no idea what it is. Just off the top of my head it is too short for a 200-4R, a 200 should be smooth on the bottom and have "METRIC" stamped into it. Never seen a 350 pan with all those ribs stamped into it. Not sure if I have ever seen a 250 so I am leaning that way.

The tied off cable is a throttle valve or kick down cable. What I wonder is what is plugging the hole where that goes? How does it run does it shift soft or shift hard, shift late or early?

Take a picture of the speedometer gear adaptor and the front corners above the pan that's where that cable will go in.

Count the number of bolts holding the pan on. It will help since it's difficult to get decent pics in the cramped conditions.

13 bolt pan is a 250 or 350. 200 is 11 bolts , 200-4R is 17 bolts. Look on the passenger side behind the cooler lines and the dipstick tube a 250 will have a stud with a nut on it for a band adjust a 350 will not have this.

Also note the bolt on tail shaft housing, the 200-4R is one piece and I think the 200 is also.

The small speedometer adaptor is early 350 without lockup. My 350C and I think the 250 use the bigger one.

Is there a wire connector on the drivers side? Square with 4 pins coming out vertical or a single male terminal coming out horizontally.
