Thought I would join just bought my newest toy a 1981 Buick Regal Indy 500 pace car it is car #148 out of the 150 produced. Has 90000 miles on it. Interior is in almost perfect shape. Car sat outside for several years and has obtained a patina look. So far I’ve redone some of the vacuum lines but the engine has a tick but not a rod knock noise not sure if it’s because it sat around for a long time or if the lifters need adjusting. I have the original numbers matching engine guy spun a bearing on it but plan on rebuilding it. Also the shifter cable is broke. It is a 24” cable but the replacement ones are 30” and 31” so unsure what I’m going to do on that I’m trying to repair the original
