The only 8” wide factory steel wheels on any type of car (not truck) the I’ve ever heard of, not to mention seen, were Corvette Rally wheels. 15x7s were considered large back in the day (pre 1990s). This same conversation comes up with Dodge and Ford and Pontiac etc and no 8” wide are ever physically confirmed.

And I hope to either authenticate the sellers claim or dismiss it as being among the ones of the Lock Ness and Big Foot......

Rubber faced? Or aluminum? The actual honeycombs that I saw were in fact steel and 15x8 but the honeycomb face was some type of rubberized material. Very odd for the day.

All from the folks that brought us the 390mm wheels back in the ‘80s😜
