These are the latest design of bushed solid roller lifters from Isky,their new EZ Roll Helix.
I emailed well known engine builder Mike "Wolfplace" Lewis about them and this is what he said;
"Hi Guy

So far testing has been extremely good especially low speed durability like idle time, street usage etc

I still need to get pricing on them it wasn’t set last I asked"

If the price isn't too outrageous a set might find their way into my 513 when I take it apart this year :cool:

Isky Cams is a great company. When I first had my engine built (early 2009), I used the Red Zone lifter in it. I didn't get the car back together until early 2017. I put about 200 miles on it and lost 5 lifters. My builder sent them back to Isky to check out. Come to find out they had multiple bushing changes since I bought mine. They upgraded the bushings and fixed anything else that might have been wrong for my builder.
That's one company that stands behind their products.

thin oil and regular oil changes is the trick to keeping bushed lifters alive......that helix groove is a good idea for street use....

I use 10W-30 oil and it gets changed often.
My first set of the Isky bushed solid roller lifters went more than 25,000 miles.
The current ones have been in use since 2015.
Mike is going to let me know how much $$$ when he finds out.

I have always heard good things about Isky but I have been running Crower severe duty pressure fed solid rollers for 15+ years now on the street in both my old 555 BBC and my current 565 BBC that I built in 2010 (same set) and for me why mess with something that I have proven to myself works so I bought a new set for my 565 that is still on the stand.

Well that’s what Mike Lewis recommends and he’s been building performance engines for a long time and he hasn’t steered me wrong yet.
Pricing will be the deciding factor on whether I buy them or not .
