Neon Seat Belts? OSHA Approved? 😊
They make adapters to retrofit more popular 6x9 speakers into the narrow rear package shelfs on G's, I can't believe how much they cost now though..LOL, I got mine like in the early 90's for like $15 for the pair, they work OK, but can be a little tight with the trunk lid springs.
$90, yikes!!

I’ve been on a bit of a DIY adventure lately, tackling the challenge of building my own package tray—and I’m pretty proud to say I nailed it on my first try! Sure, I could use some new brackets, but Dixie’s prices are sky-high, so I’m sticking with my homemade ones for now. I’ll upgrade them eventually, but for now, my focus has shifted to the front console speaker, a 4x10 beauty that’s captured in the photo. The whole process has been a blast, and I’m excited about how far I’ve come!Neon Seat Belts? OSHA Approved? 😊

That’s the old original. I’m putting a 300 watt kicker in the front. 4/10”. As I’m caping the dash. And I just felt that 2” thickness leaves me no choice till I get the dash out and go from there.I like seeing custom touches like neon green seatbelts, that's cool stuff. I have questions as to why you'd want to keep a 4x10 speaker when they can't produce low frequencies and distort to all hell, but hey, if you're happy then the project is going well. Rock on and keep creating things.
