Olds 307 piston dish volume

I've reserached a bit for differences between 80-84 and 85-90 pistons and haven't really come up with anything. The early pistons have a shallow circular dish. The later pistons have a very deep horseshoe shaped dish.

Is there a difference in the dish volume between the two?
