What size socket does it take to fit the harmonic balancer bolt on a 1979 Olds 350 engine. The engine is still in the car and I'm trying to turn it over to see if it is seized. I'm thinking it is 1 inch and 1/8............anybody know for sure? Thanks!

Thanks..........I'll call my neighbour. Of all the sockets I have........I don't have that one. I'm taking apart a 1979 Cadillac Seville my brother left to me. It has been sitting for about 5 years. It has an Olds 350 with fuel injection. I'm mostly interested in the BOP Turbo 400..........but a buddy of mine wants the front sub-frame and rear end (8.5 posi) for an old pickup project.

You are not supposed to use that bolt to turn the engine over, if you do you should use a click torque wrench set at 60 lbs

It is a big bolt, I do it all the time. Pretty sure the setting is 180 ft/lbs.
