olds 350 heads on a 307?

hi all i just decided to see what would happen if i were to install my 350 heads on my 307, what would it do and do i gota change any thing? also could i also put a 350 intake from a late 70s cutlass on my 307? let me no what would happen and what would the power to time be improved by?

They won't work. Bore is too small on the 307. Your basically stuck with 307 heads.

Huh? The only POSSIBLE effect of the bore size is valve shrouding. All Olds heads use the same valve centerlines, so if a C head with 2.070/1.625 valves works on a G-block 400 with 3.870" bore, then a #6 head with 1.880/1.567 valves will work equally well on a 307 with 3.800" bore.

1986buick, go ahead and throw them on there and see how they work out.

If you are looking for flow increases with the intake, I would get an aluminum Performer intake from edelbrock before I put that stock 350 intake on. Its crazy how heavy those things are. :lol: I was like wtf is this intake so heavy. That thing is like a boat anchor.
