olds 4.3 v8 firing order

I am working on what I belive to be an oldsmobile 4.3 v8. Anyways, does anyone happen to know the firing order, and which cyl is the number one? thanks in advance 😀

A 4.3 Olds would be the 260 V8. Every Olds V8 from 1964-1990 uses the 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 firing order (should be cast on the intake manifold) and driver's side front cylinder is #1.
 
I would start with checking and setting the timing. The spec should be on the sticker on the fan shroud.

Distributor 180 deg out? Timing chain bad?
 
😳 I got it all squared away. When I put the plug wires on the cap, i failed to remember this engine rotates opposite of a small block chevrolet.
