Well, you could have poured a melted piston into them before you did the valve work. But, since you didn't, JB Weld the iron plugs in.
I used Edelbrock heads to get rid of mine.

I used the edelbrock plugs and ground them to a tight fit and jb welded them in place.

Be sure to adhere them some how or it sounds like a wrench in the valley pan rattling around. Took awhile to troubleshoot that one.

may just keep them open and use the valley pan.

Dont want it to not heat up in the winter


Ill see maybe i'll just weld the intake side closed seems easier
