Oldsmobile V8 Fan Shroud

I am assuming that the Olds 260, 307 and 350 Fan Shrouds are the same and that no version of a small block Chevy will fit. Am I correct? I put an OLDSMOBILE 350 in my El Camino so I cannot use the Small block fan shroud, or the Buick V6 one. Could someone please verify this before I spend $100 on the wrong part again? I could grow to hate G Bodies very easily and it is justified!

I have no experience with Olds motors but why wont the two piece Chevy shroud fit ?
As far as Olds V8 shrouds I think theres two versions. One thats flat on top and another with a rounded top. If you do a search theres a thread started by me about this subject. I actually have one of each. I have a flat top shroud in my 81 Malibu coupe. It looks like its going to hit the hood but since the hoods not on yet I dont really know for sure. Guys replied to the question and said theyre using the exact shroud with no problem.

I've had both olds v8 shrouds on my Regal with a BBC in it and had no problems.
There is a 2 two-piece shroud
Also a one piece shroud it's bolted to a metal top plate

Thank you! I will either find the exact shroud for the 350 Olds engine or go to electric. Since only Cutlass saw the Olds V8's there are much fewer of them still on the road, even fewer sporting Olds engines. I have some time to search and I have had a couple of contacts for the 260 shroud.

With the Olds top radiator hold down bracket the olds shroud will fit.
The chevy core support has all but 1 mount hole for the olds rad hold down.
All SB olds shrouds are the same

the olds 307 was also used in the regals. and don't forget the olds diesel, put in darn near everything. they are more available than you know. and don't forget the top plate which is now being reproduced.

I have a olds shroud with a sbc and it fits fine
