I've been lurking here for the last month or three learning ls swap stuff, so I'd like to just say thanks for all the help everybody.

Anyways here's what I'm doing. I bought a 2000 lq4 equipped silverado for 1500 bucks and now I'm swapping everything into my 78 malibu. Everybody likes pics so here you go. Donor truck and my baby.

Looks like a great start. Keep us posted on the progress. Like what oil pan you are going to use. What motor mounts. Headers if you use em and so on.

Thanks all. I'm planning on putting up a build thread once I start, but Im in the middle of a move. The donor truck has been pushed into moving truck status for now. I have most of the parts. Just waiting on hp tuners software and my harness rework then work shall commence.
