Hi all. Just wondering what parts I should be on the lookout for going from a 3-speed column-shift to a 4-speed. Do I need a new "rooster comb"? Also, I currently have an analog needle shift display. Ultimately, I plan on going to an aftermarket 6-gauge cluster that eliminates that. Will I need to get a whole new steering column, or just detach the mechanism?

I'm sure I'll probably have to get a custom-length shifter cable as well. Also, the column shifter generally seems "loose" right now. Is there a spring that I can replace that will help it seem a little firmer? Thanks in advance.
