Hello,

I picked up a passenger mirror escutcheon on Ebay, so I just looking for the front license bracket. What shape is the bracket in and how much you asking for it? I live in Canada but also have US items sent to ZIP 13669. Thank you, John
The front license plate holder (RPO VK3) you show in your picture is a reproduction. They're available at most of the repro places if you need a new one. It's easy to tell a repro vs. GM one. There's a divot in the center front of the holder that says "Hi, I'm a reproduction unit." GM unit is flat across that area. It's covered by the plate either way, but that's how you know. You can buy those new for about 40-50 bucks thereabouts.

88hurstolds will have good quality stuff, likely either NOS or excellent used. Whatever condition he describes it, that's what it will be.

I may buy one of those repro bracket and do a comparo vs NOS on that. Everything is always claimed to be "better than GM" stuff when it comes to this. The bracket installs tight against the body and I believe the holes don't always line up exact, and thusly, over time the bracket bolt hole areas crack and bust out, leaving you with a missing or floppy front license plate bracket.

GM provided a blank stainless piece for chrome bumpered cars, but not a painted one for the 83/84 H/O or 85-87 442s. Another interesting fact, all the VIN 9 vehicles listed came with VK3 as standard equipment, but it's not always listed on the SPID. That blank front trim cover was p/n 22511203, which is repro'ed. You could scuff it an paint it lower bumper color if yours is painted, however.

Has several cracks and the two top mounts need a little repair which is typical with these
