since ive been on this forum, i see alot of questions about 7.5 rears
I respond the same to all of them... buy a locker
THE PROS
makes any rear stronger (illiminates the spiders)
easy to install (about 1 hour)
easy to take out and put in another rear( say u find a rear w/ better gear)


THE CONS
can only install in open rears( if u have a posi carrier that worn out it wont work)
a little noisy around corners ( but 85/140 gear oil pretty much stops that)


always use 85/140 oil(not 80/90, not synthetic)

by the way, dont buy the ones u see for $450. or more. lockrite makes one for about $350.
