PLEASE HELP!!! My dashlights stay on, my headlights dont tur

PLEASE HELP!!! with car completely off My dashlights stay on, my headlights dont turn on and when i turn on lights switch taillights come on but when you press brake they dont brighten they just stay constant. I have clifford avantguard 5 alarm what is wrong???

I would check the dash headlight switch first, I've seen them short and cause mindboglling stuff. Unplug the harness from the switch and see if anything changes. Be carefull, on mine the short got the switch so hot it singed the dash.
