Thought I'd make a little Poll about it and see what's up. Poll expires in a month.

My engine of choice is Buick Small Block, a 350 to be exact.

Looking forward to seeing all the results.

there is no such thing as a Pontiac small block or big block, they are intermediate blocks

The Olds Small Block, for it's time similar HP with a better torque and more reliable than brother "C" in the dark 70's especially.

My el camino and malibu both have sbcs but if I could do it again it would either be a 454 or 3.8 turbo buick or 4.3 setup

Right now the Monte Carlo still has the TBI 4.3 under the hood. It's not too bad for a daily driver engine. It has a lot more torque than I expected and it's been very reliable. As good as it's been, it will be replaced by a Vortec 350 from a '99 Yukon.

I am pretty sure most know what I am running in my Monte even though there is not a single part on it made by GM.
