Hey guys, I recently started driving my project car for the first time. Its a 87 cutlass, 5.3l turbo, stock front suspension other than 3way adj. shocks. Rear is a qp 9in with spool, trz double adjustable uca, single adjustable lowers, strange double adjustable shocks. Stock coils front and rear. NO sway bars front or rear...

The problem I'm having is when I turn the car left or right, the body leans into the opposite direction i'm turning. Now this happens when sitting still. I could understand while driving and going thru turns or curves and it rolls, but just sitting still it shouldnt happen.

Any possibility of rear suspension mounts too tight? Front control arm bushings worn slap out? Weak springs maybe?

I honestly can't remember if I tightened them with the suspension hanging or jacked up.

And no sir, this is my first spool. Think its just the car pulling to turn?

No problemo
It's just how a spool acts
You will learn to live with it or swap it for a Detroit locker
But those make noise

The only time a Detroit Locker makes noise is when unlocking/locking which you would probably never hear with a car running.

the caster causes the lean you are talking about. When you steer the front wheels one wheel will stand taller than the other wheel.
