Any of you guys doing your own powder coating? i'm getting a used oven off of craigslist for $100, just need to select the gun setup.

Curious what guns/equipment ya'll are using and vendor/manufacturer of the powder. below are some of the ones i've stumbled on (not including harbor freight and eastwood)

Redline industries - https://www.redlineltd.com/redlinestore.htm
ez-50 is one of the most popular --- 50 kV
ez-100j not as popular, but an upgrade to the ez-50 with 100 kV

then there is this which appears to have all the features of guns over $1000, can also be found on amazon, with almost perfect reviews (only 10)

columbia coatings stuff seems fairly popular also, but gets expensive for a home user (for me atleast)

Thanks!

I have the dual voltage eastwood gun and use prismatic powders.

Eastwood charges decent pricing for the powder but outrageous shipping for it. Prismatic ends up being cheaper even though the powder is more.

Those big $400 ones are good if you are doing something like an entire tube chassis multiple times a week where you can put volume down, but if you are doing brackets or a frame here and there the small gun is worth saving $100 and not having to store a giant tanker.

i hear ya on not having to store that "giant tanker"... that is definitely a factor to consider
