I'm in need of a power seat coupler ( don't know its official name ) as shown in pic. This is for my 85 442. Are there any differences in these coupler's over the years or are they the same from 78-88?

So do the couples in 87-88 fit? Are they made more sturdy than the 78-86's? Do I need a coupler specifically for a 78-86?

My friend suprised me and ordered me one without consulting me first. Let's hope it's the one pictured above.... Funny how the updated one looks less durable than the stock one!

It is a much better quality plastic with a higher resin base but is still designed to snap if there is too much resistance on the seat track.
