Greetings Gbody family! The process of the restoration of my Pro Touring 1979 Hurst Olds continues. The overall direction is as follows:

Schwartz Performance G-Machine chassis
LRB 532ci Naturally aspirated BBC (Callies, AFR, etc)
4L80e transmission (2800 stall)
FAST EZ-EFI 2.0
265-35-19 on front and 345-30-19 on rear

Still have a ways to go but here are a few pics of the chassis

Love the chassis.... Hate the high cost. That is a really nice piece but it cost more than most complete G bodies do.

what are you doing about wheel tubs to fit those rear tires.

The car has been mini-tubbed and has just completed the paint process (being clear coated as we speak). I will post a few more pics shortly.

More images from the past year...on the paint these images were taken before the Gold and stripes were done.

The trap door in the trunk allows access to the fuel tank without dropping it out of the car.

Very nice. I'll 2nd the 'wow' on the cost of the chassis & related parts. Nice stuff but man.... Expensive. It's not just Schwartz's chassis as they're all pricy. It's nice seeing G-body/late 70's/early 80's cars getting some high-end, quality builds.

That said, it's a killer package so I'm just envious. Since I can't pony up those bucks, I'll have to 'blue-collar' mod my G-body & be comfortable w/almost as good but w/sacrifices. Please keep the updates coming. Again, killer build!
