Yeah I was/am really bummed about the race... Kinda feel like I got gyped but I guess there's nothing I can do about it.

Special delivery showed up today :D Now I really can't wait to get the car out of storage. Got a pair of them. They aren't leather, but a cheap knockoff of course. They call it microsuede. Looks better than just fabric and not as cheap as vinyl IMO. Hopefully I can Fab up some mounting adapters easily and use my factory seat slides. They did come with sliders but I'd like to try to retain my factory ones.

Not much to report. Had a buddy plasma cut these brackets I designed to mount the new seats on the factory seat rails... Looks like they'll work so a slapped some paint on them today. Hopefully mount the seats up this week and get the car back to my house for the summer.

Got the bracket installed, holes for the seat were off by about 1/32". Filed them and the seat bolted on. Looks great, but..... Feels like your in a 4wd truck the seats sit so high. 😥 Looks like I'm going to have to buy the brackets they sell so I can mount the seat lower. If I had more time I'd make my own, but I've been working almost 60 hour weeks...

Ooof, yeah that's how my seats used to sit also. I've got mine bolted right to the G seat tracks and they're better, but still high. I might end up buying the procar brackets to lower the seats more.

Damn, I just looked at the brackets. $140 EACH! Really? Plus freight... I'll have almost as much into the brackets as I do the seats. Well maybe I'll wait and once I get some more time I'll fab my own. I can still use the bracket I made, just need feet on it to go over the factory seat studs on the floor.
