Damn, I just looked at the brackets. $140 EACH! Really? Plus freight... I'll have almost as much into the brackets as I do the seats. Well maybe I'll wait and once I get some more time I'll fab my own. I can still use the bracket I made, just need feet on it to go over the factory seat studs on the floor.
Yep, they not cheap...that's why I haven't bought any yet.

Well this finally happened....

I ended up finding a set of seat brackets on Amazon for $110 for the PAIR. Much more reasonable. I needed to get moving as summer has finally arrived and our plans to demolish our house and rebuild are getting close. Won't have power in the garage for a couple of months so it's now or never! I realize I only installed one seat. I removed and sold my instrument cluster to a member on here that wanted the 9C1 120mph speedometer. I have another factory gauge cluster, but I'm waiting on some wiring so the factory tach will work. The new seats really hug you and putting that wiring in the dash with the new seats will be a PITA so I waited on the driver's seat. Can't wait to drive the car and actually be held in place!

Finally... Also installed the "new" cluster which had to come in and out several times to get all the lights working.

Washed it quick, filled the tank with 93, took the wife for a drive and scared the sh*t out of her LOL The seats definitely hold me in place better and I can't wait to get it on the track!

Finally found 30 minutes to work on my own stuff. Installed my Christmas present from my wife. Fits perfect and was super easy to install! Now if I can find time to replace my clutch that's slipping...

Thank you! I've been trying to drive it more this summer and take it different places that I don't normally go. Change it up a little. Been hard with planning our house demo and rebuild. Matter of fact we're picking up the demo permit today, waiting on county approval of the septic system so we can get the building permit. The car REALLY needs a clutch, which I have, just no time to put it in with trying to pack the house and move.

I don't know what you're currently running, but I will throw my unsolicited endorsement of the McLeod Street Twin RST out there. It's expensive, but worth every last copper clad steel penny.
