Hello everyone, if no on remembers me i used to use this forum about 2 years ago when i had a 78 regal, it was very low mileage (22,000) and was pretty clean but i ended up buying a nissan 240sx and selling the regal because i was desperate for money. anyways ive got a decent paying job now and want to try with a gbody again. i want to know what i should look out for and how much ill be look at paying. keep in mind i knew about nothing when i was working on my regal but know i know pretty much everything you need to know to build a project car (i own 2 drift cars both 240sx and one of them has a motor swap). like i said above what should i look out for, im looking for a drag car/ highway cruiser that could POSSIBLY get an LS one day. Good luck trying to find something as clean as what you gave up. You will certainly have to pay up for a nice clean low mileage example...unless you're fortunate enough to inherit another one. I think that ship has sailed.

yup i undestand this but atleast im probably going to tear the whole thing down anyway (suspension engine) so it shouldnt be too much of a problem to get one with a little higher mileage

Well now you can at least pick a style and year that is maybe more to your liking and maybe you will enjoy spending your time, money and effort working on that.

Well, as long as you're resigned to the fact that your next acquisition will most likely not be as nice, then go for it. Good luck!
