Put yo hood up!

At the moment got an 84 cutlass supreme from my girls dad(just usin it for parts) and lookin for a running cutlass for a project. Planning on putting a Weiand blown 350 in it. Problem is i believe the stock hood doesnt allow enough clearance for this and i do not like the look of cowl hoods on a cutlass. Any other options in hoods to give the clearance or ways around replacing the hood?
